Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) Level 2

- To understand what makes individuals vulnerable,
- To understand the laws and regulations,
- To understand who commits abuse,
- To be aware of indicators of the different types of abuse,
- Reporting abuse and whistleblowing.
The Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) Level 2 is designed for those wishing to use the qualification in industries where they have contact with potentially vulnerable adults including care and social work.
The course is run over 1 day with a minimum of 3 guided learning hours or online.
